Is too much knowledge (information) a bad thing?

Love this HBR post by Jeff Stibel regarding the issue with gathering too much information when making a decision.

Selling into the insurance industry I have seen the analysis paralysis issue which this article describes first hand too many times. This article accurately puts into words something I have made a point to be aware of each time a large decision presents itself.
